Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join our team based in Pinjarra in a full-time capacity.

Quattro Project Engineering is a successful and innovative WA based Engineering and Construction Services Company servicing the Resources and Civil Sectors for over 10 years. Quattro has consulted and contracted with a diverse range of clients including international mining houses, mid-tier miners, government entities and developers and have delivered a multitude of projects from pre-feasibility through to construction and commissioning. The Role

Due to our company's continuous expansion, we are looking for a Workshop Manager to join our team in our Pinjarra Workshop in a permanent full-time capacity. Duties include but not limited to;

  • Manage and take responsibility for the delivery of all facility activities including;
    • Production and productivity
    • Job probability
    • Occupational health and safety
    • Quality and operational performance
  • Measure, monitor and manage all facility activities to ensure business deliverables are met
  • Plan and schedule all facility activities in conjunction with the Product Manager, Engineering and Operations and Projects to optimize the use of plant equipment, facilities and personnel
  • Provide regular feedback and reporting (both informal and formal) to Senior Management on facility performance and deliverables
  • Plan manning levels and resources in accordance with job requirements toensure production, productivity and job profitability
  • Develop, promote and support facility personnel to deliver a strong working group (workforce and staff) who are appropriately trained and qualified to deliver the best outcomes
  • Provide management and leadership to all facility personnel to deliverrequired business outcomes
  • In conjunction with the Product Delivery Managers, ensure that the activities are coordinated so that contracts are completed within budget and within their agreed timeframe
  • Ensure that rectification plans are put in place for areas that are underperforming and ensure delivery of these plans
  • Take ownership for OH&S requirements of the facility and enforce all statutory, legal and company requirements to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the workforce
  • Ensure the proper use of facility equipment and materials
  • Oversee the maintenance of the transport fleet and all plant andequipment to ensure that its availability is maximized
  • Manage the day to day operations of the Company’s construction/transport fleet operations
  • Ensure that the quality of all work carried out conforms to the clients specifications and to the Company’s quality system
  • Develop and implement cost-effective alternatives and improvements to manufacturing procedures and processes
  • Other duties as requested from time to time by the Products Delivery Manager

About You

  • Trade qualifications are preferred but not essential
  • Diploma in Leadership and Management is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Previous Pronto experience ishighly desirable
  • Ability to work in high pressure environments
  • Quick learner and can adapt to change quickly
  • High level of attention to detail
