Jeremy Palmer

Managing Director
BEng (Civil), Adv Dip (MEng), MIEAust

A qualified Engineer, Jeremy has a career formed from hands on experience at all levels of industry. Jeremy has always strived to understand what makes a project successful. This dedication has seen him experience everything from time on tools, practicing as a consulting Engineer, construction/ project management and Client representation.

By working internationally in Vitenem, the UAE and Oman, Jeremy has developed an ability to lead projects in all manner of stakeholders environments. With a developed understanding of project drivers and risk identification, Jeremy is well versed at ensuring projects are set up and administered to satisfy the key motivators of our Clients.

On relocation to Australia, Jeremy was tasked with the establishment and management of the Australian operations of a major international project management consultancy in Sydney. His role in developing the business and creating a coherent team of qualified individuals saw the company succeed in a difficult market in a short period of time.

Jamie Cartwright

Operations Manager
Masters, Project Management

Jamie Cartwright is an Operations Manager with over 25 years of Australian and international experience in the Mining, Oil and Gas and Defence industries. Jamie was appointed Operations Manager in June 2017 and is responsible for managing all of Quattro Project Engineering’s Operational and Project Management matters.

Prior to joining Quattro Project Engineering, Jamie was the General Manager – Mining of ASX listed Civil and Mining Contractor for Brierty Limited and prior to this he was the Project Manager for the Western Turner Syncline Expansions for Rio Tinto.

Jamie has held numerous senior management positions with Worley Parsons, Wood Group, Boeing, Rio Tinto and Brierty.

Jamie has managed a range of complex and technically diverse projects for a number of international companies both in Australia and overseas and continues to be passionate about innovation in engineering and the environment.

Jamie holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Adelaide.

Gordon Morriss

Principal Mechanical Engineer
BE (Mech)  CPENG (ret)

Gordon Morriss has over 30 years’ experience in heavy industry leading the design, manufacture, supervision and management of a multitude of projects. Having expertise in all aspects of mechanical and process engineering for infrastructure specifically associated with underground mining operations and materials handling, Gordon develops workable, practical and maintainable project solutions.

Having spent many years specifically servicing the underground, hard rock mining industry, Gordon is adept at developing designs that take the multitude of challenges that underground construction presents into account.

Austin Cullen

Principal Engineer
BSc.Eng, Dip.Eng, MIStructE, MIEAust, CPENG, RPEQ

Austin is a chartered engineer with over 20 years’ experience across various sectors and industries. After graduating with an honours degree in structural engineering he has since gained extensive experience in both civil, structural, façade, project and engineering management roles. Austin has held senior associate and technical roles with previous consultancies before joining Quattro Project Engineering in early 2012.

Austin has worked on a diverse range of projects and this knowledge focus on fostering in-house creativity through design and innovation. As QPE’s Principal Civil/Structural Engineer Austin is also responsible for the management of QPE Engineering Consulting services team while ensuring QPE’s policies are maintained and exceeded with every project.
