In response to the ever-increasing statutory requirements associated with Integrated Tool Carriers (ITC) coupled to work platforms for working at heights in the underground environment, QPE have developed and registered conforming designs with Worksafe Australia.
This registration provides assurance of conformance to AS 1418.10 while maintaining the functionality of this critical piece of mobile plant. With registrations in place for various carriers, QPE offer both single and twin deck options in our proprietary man cages.

QPE’s man cages are at the forefront of safety in design incorporating crush bars, anchor points, emergency stops, cameras and a proprietary manual lowering arrangement.
Our design has been based on a retro-fitted arrangement that ensures each Tool Carrier can be converted to a conforming MEWP. As such, in addition to our range of already registered designs, QPE can apply our principals to any carrier and assist in the registration of an MEWP.

QPE’s work baskets can be supplied to accommodate the quick hitch arrangement of multiple Carrier types and in two (2) distinct models; single deck and high lift for additional elevation. Each incorporate various safety features and with geometries customised to ensure conformance to AS 1418.10 requirements.

As paste reticulation systems become ever more complex, the incorporation of key instrumentation into the reticulation system forms a vital part of the system feedback loop and subsequent control.

Together with the Q-Claw, the Q-Brace race offers an integrated and certified system to hang and brace all underground infrastructure pipework that greatly reduces installation times and increases operational flexibility.

In keeping with QPE’s history of developing innovative product solutions for the underground hard rock mining industry come the QCS.
