Bret  is an accomplished professional with over 15 years of experience in the mining sector, having transitioned from a trade background. Since joining Quattro, Bret has played a significant role in growing the operations division from 20 personnel to over 140 and has progressed from a site supervisor to managing long-term operating contracts across various sites in Australia and internationally.

Bret excels in delivering cost-effective contract management and negotiation, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations. Additionally, he is proud of maintaining a stellar safety record, which underscores his commitment to both personnel welfare and operational excellence. His primary focus is on maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and ensuring that all operational contracts align with strategic objectives.

Cody Tennant is a Civil Engineer specialised in Mine Backfill with experience across the full life cycle of a mine backfill system. He leads the Quattro team in all things related to the technical and operational design of a mine backfill system, including testwork, studies , system design and operational readiness systems.

Cody started his career in a mine backfill laboratory, before progressing to plant operations and site based engineering roles across multiple backfill systems in Australia. Leveraging his circa. 10 years site based experience, he shifted to the consulting side in Quattro in 2021 bringing a broad range of operational experience to match his strong technical basis. Cody has been involved with the design and / or operation of over 30 backfill systems both in Australia and Internationally.

Cody had a strong focus on risk management and the development of simple, robust management systems which allow for effective implementation of technical solutions.

Zoro brings deep experience in the mining and construction sectors, having worked across operational, commercial, and strategic roles over his career. Starting as a heavy machinery operator in open-cut and underground mining, he progressed into leadership positions including Branch Manager, Products Manager, Infrastructure Manager, and Strategic Projects Lead.

At Quattro, Zoro focuses on expanding market presence, building strong client relationships, and ensuring high service standards. He is known for his ability to align offerings with client needs, streamline operations, and drive business growth.

Zoro is passionate about mentoring team members and cultivating a culture built on service excellence, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

Joe Hadlow is a Workplace Health and Safety leader with nearly five decades of experience in the resources and construction industries. Beginning his career as an operator, Joe brings a hands-on understanding of industry risks and uses this knowledge to mentor and support team members at all levels.

As SEQT Manager at Quattro, Joe champions a safety-first culture built on trust, communication, and genuine care for his colleagues. His leadership style—"mentor, guide, support, and assist"—helps balance productivity with a strong focus on wellbeing.

Joe’s approach to safety has consistently led to improved engagement, reduced incidents, and a more connected workforce.

Ken Leembruggen has been with Quattro Project Engineering for close to a decade, leading diverse and challenging projects across Australia and now into Papua New Guinea. His project journey has taken him from Degrussa to Tanami, Cobar to Adelaide, the Goldfields, Perth HQ, Murrays Pinjarra, and most recently PNG — each site bringing unique challenges, lessons, and lasting memories.

A standout moment in Ken’s career was managing the Prominent Hill Paste Reticulation Project during COVID. In a surreal display of adaptability and teamwork, he recalls commissioning a QD4 actuator underground while sitting at his kitchen table — collaborating in real time via video conference with programmers based remotely in Bunbury.

Ken’s leadership style is straightforward: support the team, help others achieve their goals, and lead by doing and by caring. He believes the best leadership starts with showing up for people and creating an environment where others can thrive.

Outside of work, Ken enjoys family life, travel, catching up with mates over a beer, keeping fit, and playing a bit of golf.

Lachlan Reed is a Contract Manager with extensive experience in engineering, procurement, and construction projects across the mining and infrastructure sectors. He specialises in commercial strategy, risk mitigation, and contract negotiation, ensuring projects are delivered in line with strategic objectives.

Throughout his career, Lachlan has led major underground and surface infrastructure works across Australia and Papua New Guinea, including complex EPCM and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) contracts. He plays an important governance role at Quattro, aligning project execution with business goals and compliance standards.

Lachlan is committed to building accountable, collaborative teams and takes an active role in mentoring professionals. Outside of work, he is passionate about regenerative agriculture, emerging construction technologies, and contributing to sustainable industry practices.
